INTRO STORY CAST/STAFF
"I try not to play KAKURENBO at night, even in downtown Tokyo.
Otherwise, the Oni (Devil) will carry us away."
(From "Life in the Mountain" by Kunio Yanagida.)

Kakurenbo (hide-and-seek) is a familiar game for us, and the film "KAKURENBO" is a full 3D-CG animation
with a unique sense of horror, beautiful visuals, and depicts a futuristic world with nostalgia.
YAMATOWORKS revives the fear from folktales in their new animation film.

Shuhei Morita and Daisuke Sajiki established "Kamikaze Douga" in Kyoto as an independent creative team,
whose 2D-style 3D animation productions were highly acclaimed.

They then founded a new visual production team, "YAMATOWORKS", to make original animation films.
"KAKURENBO" was directed and produced by Shuhei Morita. Character design and artwork settings by
Daisuke Sajiki. Screenplay by Shiro Kuro, whose novels on his homepage inspired us.
The number of the crew was only 2 or 3 people.

We will announce the DVD release schedule later. Length of the film: about 25 minutes.
